How do your unique/personal qualities best fit the International System?
I have a long standing commitment to community service. I want to make a difference in my world because I have a true heart for all of humanity. The International system gives women an opportunity to impact their world by promoting and speaking about the many platforms that affect us all.
What is something few people know about you?
I live on the same property with several family members on the oldest cattle ranch in Texas on the beautiful Guadalupe River.
What do you do to stay healthy?
Our family does various things to stay healthy. We make eating a healthy diet and exercising part of our daily lives, we allow time to be with family and friends, and spend time outdoors doing the things we love to do. I feel all these things work together to make us a healthy family.
Everyone talks about "family values". What are they?
Family values are the moral and social standards that bind a family together. In my family, we believe that our faith comes first and then family second. My husband and I are working together to pass on a positive legacy of high moral and social standards to our children.
What is your worst habit? Why?
I have a strong weakness for chocolate brownies. If I am around them, I know I will have a hard time resisting and I could possibly eat half the pan!!!!
