I am a person of integrity. I am determined, confident, compassionate, outgoing, personable, and positive. What is something few people know about you?

Like actresses Kate Bosworth and Jane Seymour, I have heterochromia. Heterochromia is uncommon in humans, but quite common in dogs, cats and horses. Heterochromia means one has different colored eyes. It is more or less noticeable depending on the lighting. One is all blue, while the other is blue, green and brown.  I have had strangers ask “what color eyes do you have, they are different?” or say, “you have eyes like a dog” I don’t mind this because I love dogs!

What do you do to stay healthy?

Over 11 years ago, my husband and I collectively lost over 110 lbs. I have successfully kept my weight off by exercising and eating regularly.  Please know I like junk food and still have it but in moderation.

Everyone talks about "family values".  What are they? 

Family values are those values, which are necessary for strong, healthy families to produce strong, healthy individuals. In my family, these values are faith, integrity, respect, honor and love.

What is your worst habit? Why?

I have difficulty not taking in every unwanted or hurt animal I run across. A friend of mine once told me if I take in any more animals, I would need to open an animal shelter!   I have a beautiful blind since birth Shih Tzu named Pele, a mischievous black cat named Koa, a feisty male sparrow named Tiara, a green parakeet named Sammie and a white one named Angel, and approximately 20 ducks I feed cracked corn twice a day.
