How do your personal/unique qualities best fit the International System?
Absolutely everything I do, I do it to glorify Jesus. I love making a difference as a active community leader, motivational speaker, and a positive role model for our youths as well as adults. As a wife and mother, spending quality time with my family is very important to me. Being a successful business woman and serving my community, my passion and determination is motivating and mentoring to elementary, middle, high school students and school drop outs in self-respect and self-esteem issues that may be hindering them from following their dreams and receiving the blessings God have for them.
What is something few people know about you?
The one thing few people know about me is that, I'm a Survivor of Domestic Violence. I lived through physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Now, I'm promoting Domestic Violence Awareness for women, children and families to reduce the risk of becoming a victim. Each time I speak out on my platform, I perform Tina Turner, who is a Domestic Violence Survivor.
What do you do to stay healthy?
I stay healthy by praying daily and keeping a positive attitude. I also teach dance and exercise daily, along with tkaing USANA Nutrition Supplements to keep me active and healthy. I drink juice with fresh fruit in my Jack La Lanne's Power Juicer and watch what I eat.
Everyone talks about "family values". What are they?
Our family values are that God comes first without compromising. We always eat and pray at the table as a family. Good manners is a plus. Keeping the family together through every obstacle that life brings is a priority. We never think we're better than anyone and we respect our elders as well as others. Always accept and respect a person for who they are and never be quick to judge. These are the family values we are creating from one generation to the next.
What is your worst habit? Why?
My worst habit is taking time for myself. I won't give myself a chance to rest. I fell there's not enough time in the day for me to get things done. I continue to go. Go. Go.
